Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
アメリカ連邦議会で1990年に定められた法律。障害者が社会参加する権利を保障して、障害者への差別を禁止した。具体的には、障害に関係なく公共交通機関を利用することや働く権利を保障した。
A law set in 1990 by the United States Congress. It guaranteed the right of people with disabilities to participate in society and prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities. Specifically, the law guaranteed the rights of these people to use public transportation and to work regardless of disability.
