Independent Living Movement
1970年代にアメリカで始まった障害者が自立生活の権利を主張した（認めてもらえるように強く言った）社会運動のこと。世界中の重度障害者の活動に影響を与えた。
A social movement that began in America in the 1970’s that advocated (strongly fought for recognition) for the rights of people with disabilities to live independently. This movement influenced the activities of people with severe disabilities.
