療養病床
Sanatorium Ward, sanatorium ward
医療法に規定されている病床の種類の一つ。高齢者など長期の療養を必要としている人が対象で、充実した医療ケアを受けられるという利点（良い点）がある。医療療養病床と介護療養病床があるが、介護療養病床は2024年3月31日で廃止される（制度がなくなる）ことになっている。
One type of ward (or sickbed) regulated by the Medical Care Act. It has the benefit (good point) of being a place where people, including elderly people, who need long term medical treatment, can stay and recuperate for a long time while receiving full medical care. There are two types of such beds, ‘(medical) long-term care beds’ and ‘sanatorium long-term care beds’; the latter of which is planned to be eliminated on March 31, 2024.
