専門家や家族が当事者（そのことに直接関係がある人）の援助内容などを決めるのではなく、当事者自身が中心になって選択すること。
Rather than an expert or family deciding on the contents of support to be received, etc., the principal parties themselves (the people who are directly involved) play a central role in making the choice of the contents of support.
