老人保健施設
Health facility for the elderly/aged
病状が安定していて、治療よりリハビリテーション(rehabilitation)が必要な高齢者を対象とする施設。現在は介護保険法に定められているので、「介護老人保健施設」と呼ばれている。
A facility for elderly people who are in a stable medical condition and need rehabilitation rather than medical treatment. Because these facilities are stipulated under the Long-Term Health Insurance Act, they are called "Long-Term Care Health Facilities".
