Medical social worker
主に病院にいて、福祉の視点で患者やその家族の経済的、心理的、社会的問題の解決や調整を援助する人。病院間の入院・退院の調整や地域の関係者との連絡調整を行う。
A person who is mainly stationed in hospitals and provides support and works to resolve or work on the economic, psychological, and/or social problems of patients and/or their families from a welfare point of view. A medical social worker coordinates hospitalization and discharge between hospitals and (also) coordinates communication with involved local people.
