要介護認定
Certification of Needed Long-Term Care
介護保険制度のなかで、介護の支援を受けようとする本人が、保険者である市町村に申請する手続きの中で行われる。認定調査を受けて要介護状態または要支援状態にあることの認定を受ける。
Under the long-term nursing care insurance system, this certification is done as a part of process when a person who is trying to obtain nursing-care support applies for it to his/her insurer, i.e. the relevant section in the municipal government. By undergoing the investigation (and when the result of investigation shows it necessary), either certification of needed long-term care or certification of needed support is given.
