Central venous nutrition
口から食べたり飲んだりすることができない場合に、細い管を静脈の中に入れ、この管を通して体が必要とする水分や栄養の補給を行うこと。
In cases where a person cannot eat or drink by mouth, a thin tube is inserted into their vein, and is used to supply them with the hydration and nutrition needed.
