JISと表示される。日本において工業製品の質や大きさ、形などを定めた標準のこと。自動車、電気製品、生活品、文字コードなどがある。統一する（同じにする）ことで生産性が向上したり公正性が守られる。2019年に、名前が「日本産業規格」に変更された。

Represented known as JIS. It determines the standards for the quality, size, shape/form and so on, of industrial goods in Japan. It has standards for cars, electronic goods, daily goods, character encoding, and so on. By standardizing these (making them the same), productivity is improved and fairness can be protected. In 2019, its name was changed to Japan Industrial Standards.
