食育基本法
Basic Act on Food Education
国、地方公共団体等の食育に対する責任を明らかにし、食育に関する施策の基本事項を定めた法律。2005年に実行された。食育とは、食に関する知識や判断力を身に付けるための学習のこと。
A law that clarifies the responsibilities of the national and local governments for food education and decides the basic matters on food education policy. It was enacted in 2005. Food Education is food and nutrition education to gain knowledge on food and to develop the ability to make appropriate decisions on food.
