脳卒中や交通事故などによる脳の損傷が原因で、脳の機能のうち、言語や記憶、注意、情緒といった認知機能に起こる障害のこと。注意力が悪くなる、怒りっぽくなる、記憶が悪くなる、などの症状がある。日常生活で困るが、周囲に症状を理解されないことが多い。
This refers to a disorder that occurs in cognitive functions among brain functions such as language, memory, attention, and emotion, due to brain damage caused by a stroke or a traffic accident. Symptoms include poor attention, being short-tempered, and poor memory. This causes troubles in one’s daily life, but the symptoms are not understood by other people in many cases.
