住居と家計が同じ人々の集まり。世帯と家族は同じ場合が多いが、考え方としては、別である。事情があって、血のつながっていない人と同居する場合などは、世帯と家族とは同じにならない。
This refers to a group of people who who live in the same house and share the living expenses. Households and families are often the same, but how these are considered is different. If one lives with someone who is not related by blood due to some reason(s), his or her household and family are not the same.
