Declaration on the Rights of Mentally Disabled Persons
様々な場面で、知的障害者が自分の能力を十分に使うことができるように援助すること。そして、通常の生活のなかに知的障害者を受け入れることを促進する必要性を示している。1971年、国連総会で決まった。
This means to support people with intellectual disabilities to be able to make full use of their abilities in various situations. It also indicates the necessity of promoting the acceptance of people with intellectual disabilities in normal lives in society. It was decided at the United Nations General Assembly in 1971.
