老人保健法
Health and Medical Service Law for the Aged
高齢者の健康を守ること、必要な医療が受けられること、老人福祉を増進することを目的に、1982年につくられた法律。2008年に名前が変わって、「高齢者の医療の確保に関する法律」になった。
This is a law that was made in 1982 with the goals of protecting the health of the elderly, ensuring that they would be able to access necessary medical care, and increasing welfare for the elderly. In 2008 the name changed to the ‘Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People’.
