水晶体
Crystalline lens
レンズの役割を担う目の器官のこと。両凸レンズ状（両側が膨らんだレンズの形）で、焦点の調整をする。水晶体が濁ると白内障(cataracta)になる。
This is the eye organ that plays the role of a lens. It is in the shape of a biconvex lens (shape of lens with both sides curved outwards) and adjusts focus. When the crystalline lens becomes cloudy it becomes a cataract**.
