白衣高血圧

White coat hypertension

病院などで医師や看護師に血圧を測ってもらう時に白衣を見ると緊張して血圧が高くなってしまうこと。

This refers to cases when the blood pressure of a person rises because they get nervous when they see white coats when they are having their blood pressure measured by doctors and/or nurses at hospitals, clinics, or so on.
