肝臓(liver)の細胞(cell)に炎症(inflammation)が起こり肝細胞(hepatocyte)が壊される病気。多くは自覚症状(subjective symptom)がないまま病気が進行する。
A disease where the liver’s cells become inflamed, and the hepatocytes are destroyed because of the inflammation. In many cases, the disease progresses without subjective symptoms.
