目の中で光を感じる組織である網膜に異常がみられる遺伝性の病気。暗い場所で見えにくくなる、視野が狭くなる、視力が低下する、などの症状がみられる。
A hereditary disease in which abnormalities are found in one’s retina, the tissue that perceives light in one’s eyes. Symptoms such as difficulties in seeing things in dark places, the narrowing of one’s field of vision, and deterioration in one’s eyesight etc., can be seen.
