脳性麻痺の症状による分類の一つ。筋肉が常に緊張して、手や足が突っ張った（まっすぐ伸びた）ままの状態になることが多く見られる。脳性麻痺の多くが痙直型といわれる。
One of the types of paralysis categorized by symptoms of cerebral palsy. The muscles are always tense and tightened (straightened out) arms and legs are often seen. Many cases of cerebral palsy are spastic type.
