Enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli infection (EHEC)
Ｏ-157が代表的で下痢や腹痛などの症状を引き起こす。口からの感染が多い。病原菌（病気の原因になる菌）に感染してから症状が現れるまで通常の感染症よりも長いことが特徴である。
EHEC, whose representative cause is O-157, causes symptoms such as diarrhea and/or stomachache. It is mainly transmitted by oral infection. Its feature is that it takes a longer time for symptoms to appear after being infected with pathogenic bacteria (germs/bacteria causing diseases) than other common infectious diseases.
